Fields of Black and White

Just something I decided to do. Nothing magnificent. I just wanted something new to add. I will have at least one more of these black and white things. Maybe two more pictures.

I have another photograph idea but I've been too lazy to set it all up and I'll only submit it if it even looks good.

What are those black and white things in the photo? I'll give you a couple clues. They are stones and they go along with a game. Somewhere in this last paragraph I already gave the answer. See if you can figure it out that's if you even care.
